  • If you've never been to Hofbrauhaus, you need to go at least once! It's a good place to start the night if you're planning to hit up South Side. They allow you do stand and dance on the benches to the accordion clad band. The beer garden outside is nice during the summer if you want to talk with friends and escape the noisy band. The beer is brewed in house... not a big beer fan, but I do like to have one while I'm here. The mixed drinks were blah. The crowd ranges from 21 to 60's. Mostly people dressed preppy... read guys wearing pink polos. For dinner, I was only impressed with 1 time out of 5 times trying it. The schnitzel was the best! German potato salad also was good. The pretzels with beir cheese are overpriced, but good if you're in the mood for that kinda thing. Overall, I'm sure I'll be back, but it's not at the top of my list.
