| - I've stayed here 3 times for business. I love this hotel, here is why:
-while a bit pricey at $200ish per night, it is comparable to other hotels of similar caliper in the area if not cheaper
-equipped KITCHEN...yes there is some great food in Toronto but I am a picky vegetarian, and often too tired to go out searching for healthy veg. food and while people rave about the food here, I still haven't found anything that great. beware vegetarians, many in the area think that chicken and beef broth, and chunks of fish are vegetarian. vegan is not a common word here. when I have found real veg food it has had a lot of sugar, fat or carbs
-bar is classy and great
-"social nights" = free food, the food is so so from a healthy veg perspective but hey it's free
-free breakfast - it's pretty good; most would say it's great but i'm a picky one
-awesome business center with 2 computers, fast printer, open all the time
-nice gym and pool
-everything inside is totally new, clean, classy and modern
-great staff, very friendly and helpful
-right in the middle of everything downtown toronto
-can't believe that tonight went down to biz. center and once outside my door heard a couple in the neighboring room giggling - but heard NOTHING in my room. YAY for thick walls.
-FREE wifi the way it should be
Only thing I don't like is no parking, $35 or so for valet parking, ouch, but since I make a lot of my own food by staying here it more than makes up for it and I don't get that crappy feeling I get when traveling for work and eating crappy vegetarian travel food (pasta, cheese, bread, rice, pasta, cheese, bread, and occasional overcooked veggies and iceburg lettuce).
