If you can avoid living here then do it. I recently had maintenance in my apartment and items were stolen, I reported to management and she flipped it on me like it was my fault. 100% NOT worth the money. My best advice is to talk to the current residents and not the international students. They will be completely honest with you. This is uptown living with downtown pricing.
Pros:
Doormen are nice
Shuttle drivers are nice - especially Chuck and the lady in the afternoon
Cons:
The elevators are so old, they break down weekly and management is refusing to fix them. Way too many people have gotten stuck in them, myself included.
Walls are thin you can smell and hear everything coming from neighboring apartments.
Windows are poorly insulated so when they decide to swap from all-inclusive utilities be prepared for a high bill. Which will be effective with any new lease
I would also stay away from the "updated" apartments. The floors are not hardwood they are a dark vinyl and incredibly thin. The vanity in the bathrooms look like they came from salvation army and the tile is incredibly disgusting. They are not worth the money.
There is an additional fee to use the pool and they are adding a fee to use the other facilities as well
