This one is hard to believe as I have used Enterprise so much for personal, business, and even for my customers & family in town for visits. So on my last rental I had a family member get into a motorcycle crash and I needed a last minute rental to get thing done for them. First place I think of is Enterprise. We get the rent and right away I feel something is off with the AC but we had to get to the crash ASAP could not go back. So on are way back from San Diego In the middle of the Dunes the AZ starts to go out... within an hour we had not AC at all. IT was so hot my wife had to use her inhaler a couple times. The only way we could get the AZ to work was to pull over, stop the car for 10-15 min and it would work for a bit and go out again.
I called before we got back to PHX and let them know, and talk to Enterprise about it when I dropped of the car. I was told someone would contact me within 2 day.... that NEVER happened. I called them back... was told it had to be handle by the Regional manager & I would get a call..... 10 day later that STILL never happened! I called again, the store lead said that he would just take care of it and asked me "Well what do you think we should do".... I informed him its not for me to state that, as I'm the customer. the out come was him saying well it was "ONLY" a day rental so we will just give part of your charge back. So after almost two weeks, driving almost 200 miles in the heat, and me having to call over and over... none of that is a factor as "it was ONLY a day rental" So maybe next time I should view Enterprise as ONLY a company that NOLY cares about money and ONLY cares about their customers when they spend a good amount of money.
