| - I visited the Scottsdale gun club Friday morning with my wife , I have been a red,white and blue member for 9 years and have been considering buying a Titanium membership . I have known a great deal of employees there on a personal level , I have spent over the years tens of thousands of dollars there on firearms etc . To the point when high end or harder to find items like knights armament SR-25's ,Hk's ,Scar17 Fde , they would call or text me on my cell , and I would come in and purchase .
So yesterday 5-27-16 , I bring my wife in to take her shooting . I had just renewed my red, white and blue membership 4 weeks ago , The girl at the counter asked me for a guest pass . I told her I did not have one and that when I renewed my membership , I was never given any , she then said she would have to charge my wife , I asked for a manager , The manager stood five feet away from me , would not speak directly to me , told the girl that I would still have to pay a guest pass for my wife ,the manager was also informed by mike that I had just renewed my membership and in so many words has been a good customer , this manager could have cared less .I then said that if I'm being charged for a service that I've already paid for , cancel it right now , the manager without hesitation then said "cancel him out and get home out of here and walked into the back room . The girl at the counter offered me a guest pass anyway , I said no , out of principle .
My wife is a corporate executive and said the level of indifference and lack of professional and disrespect this manager displayed , was something she has never seen or would be tolerated . Mike offered to contact me if anything came into the store that I would be interested in , I told him don't bother , I would never step foot in the Scottsdale gun club and spent a dime there , just to be clear , I'm not asking for special treatment , I just feel after spending many years there , spending the amount of money I have over the years there , referring many people to them that have also spent a lot of money and bought memberships there , That this manager could have spoken to me personally to resolve the issue but worst of all , could not care less about loosing a customer and conducting themselves in very unprofessional manor .
If you want great service go next door to Special forces outdoors , ask for Andrew , They will bend over backwards to help you .
