  • This was one so the WORST experiences I have ever encountered. I brought two items to them to be altered. One a romper which had two holes on the seams and one dress I was to wear for a wedding that was a tad to small in the waist, but with fabric added to the back would be fine. Judy swore up and down that the dress would be done in the amount of time I needed it to be as the wedding was quickly approaching. The day before the wedding I gave the shop a call to make sure the dress would be done and I CATEGORICALLY told her, "If you cannot get the dress done by tomorrow, that's fine, I don't want to rush you and you make a mistake, but just let me know so I can have a back up plan." She told me it would be done. The next morning I called and they said it was done and I could come get it, to which I told them I would come during a small window of time I had, but had to be quick as I had back to back appointments that day. I get there, try the dress on and the zipper to the dress is broken. I was floored as this was my only dress for the wedding and I had no time to wait for them to fix it as they asked me over and over and OVER again to just sit for an hour or come back so they could finish it. I informed them, as I said prior to that had no time and how their mistake as put me in a terrible situation, and on top of the hefty price tag for altering the dress, I would have to race out of there to find a new one. They kept making it sound like it wasn't a big deal and that waiting an hour or to was just something I should do "for them." Weeks after the wedding I didn't have a dress for, I came in to pick up my romper and the finished dress. I tried on the dress to find that the zipper was fixed but the dress was Ill fitting in the bust area and they had made it to big in the waist. Not only that, but when I looked at my romper, the same hole that I had brought in to be fixed was still there! At this rate I thought it was all a joke. Then when she game me the bill, she proceeded to let me know she took $10 the $20 dollar romper that wasn't finish, but that there would be no discount for the dress that wasn't finished the day of the wedding, even though I gave her an out the day before if the dress wasn't going to be finished. She then proceeded to argue how it wasn't her fault and that the responsibility wasn't hers, even though this clearly happened when the dress was in her care. To argue that you finish work when not one, but TWO of the items I brought you were unfinished is just plain irresponsible and unprofessional. Not only Judy but another lady in the back became argumentative as well, making a ridiculous scene over something that they should of stepped up and taken responsibility for as business owners. I have NEVER been treated so poorly or had such a terrible experience in a place of business as a paying customer. I would never normally write a review, let alone a negative one, but this situation was so awful I just, in all good conscience allow someone else to pay their hard for a place that is so undeserving and treats their customers in such a way. I have three children, and like any mother, you try to be mindful of the dollars you spend and where you spend them. I feel like this was the WORST use of money I have ever spent, and thinking about the LARGE sum of money I had to unwillingly fork over to her my belongings back makes me sick to my stomach, especially when thinking where they could of been used instead. Please, if you have heard anything, don't waste your money on this place. I TRULY wish I had never come...
