CAUTION!!!!!!! BE CAREFUL USING THIS FACILITY
I took my daughter to the ER yesterday. she had previously been a surgical patient at Banner after contracting Flesh Eating Bacteria during a Banner Desert C-section. Subsequent to the infection, she had 7 surgeries. Came home for one day before becoming infected again. Took her the Banner Desert ER. Nurse there proceeded to Draw blood with a broken index finger glove, then nurse started am IV and drew blood for cultures with NO GLOVES.
Then, if that isn't horrific enough, he used his teeth to open an IV bandage. AND, he had a huge open cold sore on his lip. Life or death situation and the sloppiest hospital hygiene protocols imaginable. USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN USING THIS FACILITY. GLOVES ARE NEVER OPTIONAL.
Received the auto reply from Banner 2 minutes after my post. Glad they replied however, in their reply, there is absolutely no recognition or acceptance of the facts. If Banner wants to "reach out" they have my phone number and email address. All they need to do is contact customer relations at their own hospital where a formal complaint was filed. I was told yesterday at the hospital "someone would be coming to talk to me" whoever this person is- they never showed up.
