  • It was hot and sunny and Gord and I felt like being outside so we headed to Colonel Samuel Smith Park for a walk this afternoon. We've never been there before. We headed right to the water near the yacht club and there was a nice breeze. It was fun to climb around on the rocks! There were a few people at the beach ... I walked into the water and it was surprisingly not too cold We met Nikita who was getting ready to kite surf with his buddies ... he was interesting and fun to chat with about kite surfing . It's a fun park. It's almost 200 acres ... there is lots of space and so much to see and do! We'll be back!
