I did a walk-in instead of schedule an appointment, did all the paperwork, waited about 20 minutes to be then called in. I had to go in to check about a sore throat but instead I had to be tested for both strep and mono. I was waiting in one of the patients room for a long time and they didn't give me a heads up that it would take a while. Two people tried taking a test of my blood 4 times. I think his name was James (who seemed like he didn't know what he was doing), poked in my arms 3 times to attempt to get blood from me then the 4th try from Diane she attempted to get blood from my forearm Bc of how my veins showed clearly there however she stopped Bc of my tears that were flowing out of my eyes. It hurt so much. Since they couldn't get my blood those 4 times they're sending me to a lab to get my blood tested but the lab they suggested to me also have low ratings.
Update 10/5/16: I've been on the phone back and forth with Med Post receptionist, the provider, and Walgreens to see if they processed my prescription. First of all, the nurse Diane is very sweet and nice. But I feel like she is very unorganized. Because I've called The urgent care about 4 times today asking how my prescription status is. They told me that it has been sent to Walgreens, so I called Walgreens they told me they do have it getting ready and will call me when everything is cleared. I haven't had a call since. I'm just upset that I get false hopes instead of being let know when everything is gonna be done accordingly. You don't send a patient on a scavenger hunt when their throat is in pain in the first place.
