| - I hated sharing.
Went here one morning to buy pastries for the office. They had just opened...at 8am. Don't bakeries open earlier? Anyway, no biggie, but I was a little shocked at the lack of selection. I (wrongly) assumed a place with "pastries" in its name would have, well, pastries. Perhaps my search should have been more specific to "boulangerie." It appears they primarily have deserts and confections, rather than baked goods.
Regardless I saw they carry croissants and inquired. They had four different types in the oven, and I got one of each: almond, chocolate, butter and raisin. They smelled so good I didn't want to share with anyone else. My co-workers took, and loved, the butter and almond. I ended up with the raisin and chocolate. Both were perfectly crisp on the outside, tender in the middle and full of flavor. I do wish they were larger, for almost $3 a piece.
I do intend to go back one day and try their lunches and other delectable treats. But, maybe next time, I won't share.
