  • I wish I could subtract stars!!! My stay was dismal! The tub/shower was filthy, but I did not complain. I checked out Monday morning, thought I was done with the Golden Gate. They somehow confused my credit cards...ended up charging my card 3 different times this week....meanwhile never refunding my room deposit. I have called 4 times in attempt to straighten this out, have been lied to, and hung up on. Of course I have contacted my bank which the card was issued...even they are being ignored and hung up on. Never ever stay here unless you are prepared to go thru a banking nightmare! ALSO.....there isnt a way to contact this hotel or staff other than being put on hold indefinately only to receive a busy signal after 20 minutes, or in person.BEWARE!!!
