| - Let me preface this review by mentioning we have been here twice and always with large groups (15-20 people both times).
LOCATION, PARKING, & AMBIANCE: It is in the downtown area of Phoenix and so it is close to the sports action in the area. Parking is a bit of a pain, but that is how it goes in most downtown areas from my experience. If you're with a group (including kids especially), drop off the group and go find parking on your own then return to pick them up to make it easiest. It is very oriented towards sports with TVs all around and a very casual vibe. It is not fancy, it gets loud, and
FOOD & DRINK: Its pretty much a sports bar style restaurant, so I never expect much on taste. Which means I'm always surprised to enjoy what I eat. =) The foods are also geared towards sports, music, and famous people basically. I had the mac & cheese this time around, though I can't remember what I had two years ago. There are always at least one "BIG UNIT"s at our table and the hot dogs are pretty darn good! Everyone is pretty pleased with their choices, from what I've seen with our large groups both times. And they do have a full bar with a good amount of options for beers on tap as well.
SERVICE: There is a long wait to order and to get the food, but that often happens with the large groups... The staff was also pretty helpful when we asked about other locations to visit and when we requested they take our massive group picture.
Bottom Line - Slow service for long groups, but the wait is worth it b/c the ambiance is cool.
