  • I love me some Curl Up N Dye! This salon has never let me down. Best hair cut(s) I've ever experienced and the environment and company are so fun and super relaxing. This is one of those gems where you don't feel like you're conducting a transaction. It's more of a hang out and, oh yeah.. I'm getting my hair done type of place! I used to dread getting my hair cut as I'm really picky and usually left unhappy. I'm kind of a pushover and would always find myself in situations where the stylists were telling me what THEY want to do as opposed to what I was asking for. I appreciated the educated advice, but occasionally felt like they were being lazy and complacent and straight up just didn't feel like going that extra mile. I also used to hate the whole small talk that you're inevitably forced into when getting your hair did. You know the whole, "So what do you do for work?", "Isn't the weather beautiful today?" Ugh. I'd rather we not talk at all then force ourselves into boring awkward conversation. Curl Up N Dye is a totally different story. The salon is fresh, funky, fun and, well, rather racy. Lots of f-bombs, sex talk and just about whatever else comes to mind. There's no filter. I love it! With that said, if you're more of the conservative type, this salon might be a bit much for you. Well, actually, Vegas altogether might be a bit much for you, but I digress. I live here, so I automatically have an appreciation for a salon that is anything but mediocre. All in all, I love this place and have been a loyal customer since I first moved to Vegas in Sept. '11. If I had to recommend a certain stylist, Jayden is my fave. However, I've never been disappointed with any of the stylists. She recently cut my hair and not only provided killer service and conversation, but, she cut my hair to my exact liking. She wouldn't let me out of that chair until all was perfection. Forty-five bones for such a cut is well worth it! Almost forgot, they cut men's hair as well. My fiancĂ© is officially now a regular. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Oh, and the artwork hanging about is so fun! Also, don't forget to tip! ;-)
