Phenomenal consultation, marketing, execution and follow-through by Craig Tann and his Huntington & Ellis team in the sale of the Vegas house. I was consistently impressed by Craig's creativity, friendly demeanor, and professionalism. I would trust Craig in front of billionaire clients all day long - you can take him anywhere!
There are *A LOT* of options when it comes to realtors. The biggest mistake you can make as a seller is to hire an amateur or semi-pro family friend with little-to-no experience in selling and closing a significant number of homes. Just as bad are the slick realtor wannabes that feign expertise through dishonest and misleading marketing materials via mass mail (you've probably received pounds and pounds of these booklets in your mailbox.) You know who they are! Saving 1% commission by going with a "friend" doesn't mean squat if your home ends up wallowing on the market for way too long and you end up compelled to reduce the asking price because you're not getting any good offers. This happens all the time and it's a lose-lose situation.
Practice makes perfect: when I first looked up Craig and his team on Zillow they had *200* recent sales (rolling year accounting) which is truly unrivaled in the Las Vegas market. This is a very impressive number for a local realty firm any way you slice it.
Huntington & Ellis knows how to get it done, and the proof is in the pudding: the Vegas house sold *in 7 days* at a record price for the neighborhood. This was no accident. Craig advised on every single staging detail, down to upgrading key fixtures, some repainting, and removing all extraneous furniture, unnecessary appliances, and even out-dated technology to get the house in the very best possible condition for the professional photo and video shoot that set the stage for a grand first appearance in the current ultra-competitive Vegas real estate market.
Do yourself the favor of a decade and don't trust anybody else with the sale of your valuable home. You only need to listen to and heed Craig's advice every step of the way - and this may require some big sacrifices (e.g. selling or storing a ton of your belongings for the good of the sale) - but it *will* be worth it in the end. Don't let your ego get in the way. Give Huntington & Ellis all the room they need to work their magic!
