  • Wow. WOW! I have not had customer service this good since... I can't remember when. These ladies are amazing. Hema, the owner, is absolutely dedicated to making sure her customers are happy. I read that the ladies are all from Nepal, maybe that's what makes the difference, but I have never had such an amazing manicure nor encountered such complete dedication to customers. Let me explain... I wanted a Shellac mani and there are only a few places in the city that do it. Yeti Nails quoted me the cheapest price--$35 for Shellac removal and then a Shellac French polish--and it is super close to my house so I thought I'd give it a whirl. They confirmed with me via email (nice touch) and I rocked up for my appointment and we got started straight away. The mani itself (really actually just a polish change with french, although she did give me a nice hand massage as well) was very good--the manicurist really took her time to make sure everything was perfect. I could tell she knew what she was doing, and she didn't rush at all. Went back over the tips several times to make sure they were perfect. At the end, the mani looked absolutely stunning--I was thrilled with my first ever French mani and have had several compliments since, so no complaints there. So I tipped pretty well, but I noticed my bill with tax and tip came to almost $50. I noted the discrepancy in the quoted price but didn't think it was worth kicking up a fuss since the whole thing had taken quite some time and been done really, really well. BUT. Get this... Hema EMAILED ME THE NEXT DAY to ask if everything was to my satisfaction! Amazing!!!!! I cannot believe this level of customer service. But it gets even better! I told Hema how happy I was with the mani but mentioned the discrepancy between the quoted and actual prices. She got back to me today and told me her cashier made a mistake, apologised, and offered me a complimentary French polish next time!!!! I am truly gobsmacked. This is more than I expected. The great communication, the attention to detail and excellent result at the mani, then the follow up and the sincere attempt to make things better... And all this from a small business with only a few employees? Let me tell you, I am IMPRESSED. And I have found my mani-pedi place. Won't go anywhere else--I am a devotee!
