Don't be enticed by the name or its location at the Palms - there are better clubs out there than Rain. If nothing else, the venue is interesting (they blast fire from the middle of the ceiling), and the club is very open (high ceilings), though a bit disconnected. It seems like it would be hard to meet anyone here.
I went on a Saturday night w/ Paul Oakenfold spinning and it felt like a big rave. House/techno music was blasting nonstop and the crowd was jumping up and down. Not my style, sorry. We left after 10 minutes. If you are at the Palms, head over to Moon or the Playboy Club. They are right next to each other and much more trendy and fun.
