  • I purchased a leather sofa, loveseat & ottomon from Ashley Furniture in Scottsdale. It was an expensive purchase for me. After waiting several weeks for the delivery, the furniture arrived with several issues. The delivery person assured me that their technician would contact me that day to schedule a time to review & hopefully fix the issues. I never received that call and ended up calling them myself. It took 3 weeks for the technician to come see the furniture. He fixed several of the blemishes, but was unable to fix the issues with the loveseat which included lopsided cushions, puckering & looseness in the back panel. He told me customer service would call to make an appointment within 72 hours to pickup the unacceptable loveseat & redeliver a new one. The customer service manager did call me to confirm that I wanted a replacement loveseat, but told me it would be another 72 hours to even schedule the delivery, which could be weeks out again. I called the manager of the Scottsdale store to voice the fact that I wasn't pleased with the customer service and he advised there was nothing he could do, as he wasn't involved with customer service! Unbelievable. You cannot rely on ANYTHING any of the Ashley people say. Not one of them provided consistent information with what the other one stated. I still do not know when/if they will ever deliver a replacement loveseat and I may have to take action in order to receive a refund. I would have NEVER purchased these items from them if I had known how they operate. It is very frustrating and if you work, beware that they charge you $10 extra to make a Saturday delivery, even if it is their fault that the furniture is damaged and they are having to replace it. They are truly cusomer NON SEVICE oriented.
