  • I really wanted this place to be better so I held off on writing a review until the class I was attending with my kids was over. Unfortunately, this is not somewhere I would recommend to anyone at this point. The problem started almost immediately after I bought the Groupon and called Infinity (on three separate occasions) to get more info. and see what class my two kids would fit best into. No call back. Ever. It's a long story, but I did eventually get them into an art class. It should have worked out, in theory. The class size was very small and the owner/instructor seems very talented on her own. Unfortunately, no. This person seems to have no experience working with children under the age of 4. She was often times impatient and rude to the kids (there were only 3) and both parents attending. She reiterated many times in each class that coloring and painting "in the lines" was how the class would be run. She seemingly had no concern for encouraging creativity or individual development. My two year old has a two year old attention span like most other children her age, no shock there, and yet it still didn't occur to the instructor to do age appropriate art classes or use age appropriate art supplies or even let the kids do what might be fun for them. I think a big bucket of permanent marker Sharpies was brought out for the kids to supposedly trace pictures with on three different occasions. I won't even get into how rude the instructor was to me, by the way. Not only in her unsolicited parenting and schooling tips to whoever would listen but in her abrupt demeanor before, during and after the class. This was the strangest experience I've ever had with someone who is supposedly running a business geared toward helping children. Like I mentioned, maybe she just isn't good with young children, but nevertheless, I would not recommend this studio. There are better and less expensive ways to expose your children to the arts. I'm sure this owner is a nice person and this is not intended to attack her personally. It just seems teaching is not one of her strengths.
