We fly on Allegiant regularly from Phoenix to Fargo and usually have a bad experience. Last year my son was waiting at the service counter for help with a bag and did not get to the gate until 55 minutes before. They refused to board him and would not refund the ticket price. One month ago I flew alone and did not pay to reserve a seat. Of course I got a middle seat in the back of the plane. Another group was flying together and Allegiant intentionally placed them in separate rows. After the flight was fully boarded they tried to switch to one of two rows that were completely empty. The flight attendant rudely told them that those rows were to remain empty to "balance the plane"!! I have never seen such blatant attempts at making sure passengers are not satisfied!
