  • My son usually plays soccer for another league but we decided to give NYS a try for Spring season. I have been hugely disappointed. Our other league provides a full uniform (2 jersey's, shorts and socks), which are included in the cost of registration. NYS provides a jersey and we had to pay for that separately from the cost of registration. We also had to pay for the trophy. It adds up. The first few games were a joke in that there were no nets on the field and games started late. The early refs were also young adults/teens who spent more time on their i-phones then they did watching the game. It has just been really sad. We will not play with them again.
