  • This review is based purely on the budae jigae. So all you meat Honey Pig lovers, please don't hate. I agree their meat is good. Quality luncheon meat may sound like an oxymoron, but I believe there is a difference between, Walmart's Food Club spam and Spam spam. One is airy and spongey and the other is a dense, salty, surpise pack of meaty goodness. Honey Pig uses the former. Also for its tubed meats I am normally used to the slices curling up after they have been boiled...not before..which means a bit dried up. Also the broth does not appear to be the anchovey or seaweed broth that some places use. This broth appears to be courtesy of Lake Mead. Sides were very good however. Tasty water kim chi and other sides Great friendly service even at 2 am.
