  • I feel bad having to drop the rating down to three stars, but I have to be honest. My last few visits here have been all over the place. The employees here are generally nice and friendly. It's rare I encounter a rude employee. However, the food has been SO INCONSISTENT and it's really started to irritate me. When it's correct, it's delicious and I realize why I love Komol. When it's wrong, I'm upset and not wanting to come back. The spice levels are all over the place. I don't even ask for medium anymore because it's way spicier than it has been in the past. I ask for a 3/10 spice level and apparently that is up for interpretation on what that means. During my last couple visits my meal has been so spicy that my eyes water and I start coughing. So, not enjoyable for me. It's become normal for me to have to send my food back to be made with no spice at all and then I request the spice tray to add spice myself. I've also had to deal with some of the entrees coming out not tasting as it should and have had to send things back to be made correctly. I don't know, I like supporting locally owned places but it can't be this inconsistent all the time.
