rev:text	The guys here are all really nice except for the one gentleman with gray hair and glasses. It looked like he was the manager or head technician, so he figured he could give less than satisfactory service. The guy had pretty much zero communication skills but that's not why I I'm giving LVC 2 stars. I brought my wheels here for truing and they came back in even worse condition than when I brought them in. How do I know this? I took my wheels to another shop before stopping by LVC and they put my wheels on a truing stand and measured the spoke tension. Some of the spokes were off tension and the tech said it could definitely be repaired but I was looking for a second opinion which is why I dropped them at LVC for the night. I came back the next day and was told the wheels are damaged beyond repair and I would need a replacement. I ended up taking the wheels back to the shop I initially went to and they were shocked at how bad the spoke tension was and that whoever worked on this wheel had NO CLUE what he was doing. The funny thing is, this isn't the first time I've heard about LVC's poor service but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt because they are one of the bigger shops in Vegas. BTW the wheels did end up getting repaired and all is well, so the shop that actually took the time to true my wheels has earned my business for future purchases and repairs. Again, most of the guys here are super nice and the facility is awesome but I won't be coming here in the future for repairs or even to buy a bike (SC Bronson 2), which I had planned on. For me quality over quantity is very important but I have to say that this does NOT apply with LVC and their staff. I would have ended up paying over 300.00 for new wheels if I had listened to the tech at LVC. The biking community is small as is, so we should always be finding ways to help each other out and in this case it just seemed like they cared more about taking my money than providing excellent service.
