We saw an open coffee shop late Friday night and thought it'd be a great place to let our ears relax a bit from the loud music in all the bars.
Well, someone carded us at the door, hah. It's attached to the Rowdy Bar next door and they serve alcohol past like 9pm.
So that made for an interesting experience. Not surprisingly the place was mostly empty - thank goodness! They had $3 irish coffees, so my friends and I split one. It was pretty good.
I actually am pretty biased against mismatched furniture and whatnot, but this place had nice tables lined up and the decor was kinda retro and quaint. Seemed like they tried too hard for the effect, but I guess in the end it works okay. I'd enjoy getting work done here during the day for sure.
Wish they closed the door on that loud music next door (It's attached to the Rowdy Buck). But otherwise very unique place to have tucked between all the loud bars, if you need a minute to hear yourself think.
