They had me at Art Deco!
The Smith Center venue plays host to a number of productions. Beautiful costumes, music and a great stage setting. I've seen a number of various productions at The Smith Center and none have disappointed. Most recently I've seen 'The King & I' here. Many decades ago I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of seeing The King himself. No, not that 'king', I know you think Vegas and assume Elvis. Enter rolling eye emoji please;)
I'm referencing Yul Brynner- that king:) The production the other evening was great, the costumes were outstanding. Yes, right down to the wig- I thought it was Deborah Kerr!
I don't feel that any seat inside The Smith Center is a 'bad seat'.
The outside of the building is a simple, yet elegant facade. A passion for performances of all kinds is inspired by the design of The Smith Center- Art Deco. This is a visual arts style, stainless steel, chrome with sleek lines. Pictures do not do The Smith Center justice, the lighting at night enhances the craftsmanship as showcases Art Deco architecture, glamour and styling.
