I had a coffee and met with a friend. I parked in the parking lot next to the shop at 7. It said 1 hour parking. There was not any clear signs where to park if I thought I may park longer than an hour. I came out to a warning on my car informing me that my information had been recorded and that if it happened again, my car could be towed or a boot applied. I went in and asked a staff member to relay my concern to management/ownership that I didn't appreciate the security people pouncing on my car the minute I parked over despite the fact that there were plenty of open spots. The staff member was rude and condescending and told me that there was nothing he could do. I reiterated that I did not expect him to do anything other than relay the concerns of a customer that the business's parking lot security had made the whole visit very unejoyable. The staff member flatly refused and and directed me to complain to the security company. I tried to explain that the business has more weight with the lessor and its security company than me, as is evidenced by the growth of the business's leased property over the years. But he refused. I walked away, frustrated that the treatment of the staff member had been more rude and condescending than the actual security guy who wrote the warning. As I walked out, the staff member said loudly and also in a condescending sarcastic voice, "have a good evening". Perhaps ownership of this company seeks rude arrogant staff to continue its image as hipster hell. If you like being talked down to and laughed at by staff, consider this place.
