We took our car to Wrench in the spring to have our snow tires taken off. We returned later in the day in our truck to pick up the tires. The tires were in black plastic bags.
This Dec. we made an appointment at a different tire establishment that could take us on short notice and was closer to our home. The snow arrived sooner than we thought so we were anxious to get the tires on. This business informed us these were the wrong snow tires for our car. We went back to Wrench and explained they had made a mistake and given us the wrong tires. Their response was essentially tough luck. They didn't have our 1 year old snow tires on wheels, which means we were out nearly $1000. They made no attempt to accept responsibility or to make it right. We went to Wrench because they were locally owned and want to support the little guy. But we have never had an experience like this with the chain tire stores, so we will give them our business in the future.
