After over 20 year relationship I have cancelled my service with rogers. Rogers always had issues in the past but costumer service always used to help to solve the problem. The last straw was a month ago when I moved. I scheduled for my services to be transferred and received upgraded equipment. The technician showed up really late for his appointment and didn't finish until 11:45pm. He had said that he would have to come back to finish up. We had arranged for him to pick up the equipment in which he didn't. $740 gets charged to my account for the equipment the installer forgot to pickup. Three days later my cell phone gets disconnected even though 3 days earlier I had a 0 balance. After a hour on the the phone they explained to me that rogers disconnects accounts that go over $700 which seems odd. They reconnect my phone and tell me I have 10 days to return the equipment. 5 days later my phone gets disconnected again for the same reason. I return the equipment the same day so it doesn't happen again. It's been 3 weeks and rogers is calling me daily with regards to the equipment I have tried clearing it up over the phone but the phone calls continue. Only after going to to the store again does it stop. I debated going to crtc to complain but it takes too long. I spend $1500-$1600 per month with rogers with home and business. I have removed my cell phone account so far but still need to change the rest.
