  • Hanny's is walking distance from my office so an easy place to grab lunch or an after-work cocktail. It's got a cool vibe like it's sister restaurant, AZ88. Even though the layout is a bit kludgy, it's forgiven because it retains authenticity as a former clothing store. The menu is a bit different also and for that I am grateful. My go-to is the chopped salad. It's vegetarian (has eggs and cheese) and a lot of flavor going on. They have a couple of nice platters if you are just sitting at the bar looking to nosh. They are all in on cocktails and have a few things that you won't find other places AND if you like a regular martini, they're $5. Hanny's kitchen stays open late and I've been surprised at how packed they can be late at night. Good value downtown.
