My mother and I were just the unfortunate recipients of a completely unethical bait and switch performed by salesman Bruce Balicki. We met at a number for a vehicle yesterday at 5:00. The OTD price. Written, circled on their official AutoNation quote spelling out the vehicle and purchase option. The out the door price he wrote down, and circled, was within $3300 of the full asking price. I told him before I could commit to an offer I needed to speak with my husband, who is out of the country for work, as the OTD price was above what we wanted to spend(but only by $1500). When I returned today with a cashier's check and cash in the amount of the OTD price Bruce had written on the form, I was told they couldn't possibly sell it for that price and the actual out the door price would in fact be $3300 higher. This is the kind of behavior that gives used car salesmen a bad name and which will keep me from ever passing through any Auto Nation facility again. We purchased a car from this dealership in 2008, when it was Power, and at that time the final price was the final price. We've also had 3 Chrysler vehicles serviced (gladly and with good work) at this location over the last 7 years. No more and buyer beware - what a disappointing waste of time.
