The service to this Pei Wei was fine. The problem came from the taste of the food. I ordered the Japanese Steak and Shrimp Ramen. The first thing you will notice is there is no broth. There is a tiny bit on the bottom but not a significant amount. Overall there was enough meat and shrimp but for $10 there better be. The problem with this came from the taste. It is on the spicy side so if you don't like it spicy you have been warned. The noodles were a bit on the stiff side. Kind of reminded me like the type of noodles you would get from a pizza place that had their noodles sitting in the fridge over night.
To cover up for the lack of flavor it looks like they tried to mask it using a spicy red chille sauce. I have had better tasting top ramen then this dish. I have had real ramen before and I consider this an insult to my taste buds. I would have been happy with this dish even with no broth if it tasted good. My advice is if you want your Mongolian or king pao chicken then you are fine. If you want a noodle dish I would recommend going to one of the new more authentic ramen places in the Valley.
