  • Dr. Agapay did my hernia surgery about a month ago. On my first visit he verified I had a hernia. He explained where it was and how he was going to repair it. I completely understood what he was going to do. He didn't rush me, was very professional. My surgery was scheduled for a week later. He had an earlier appt., but I chose to have it done on a Friday. He did it with robotics laparoscopically. He told me what not to do and said take it easy the day of the surgery. I felt great the next day, but I remembered him telling me NO HEAVY LIFTING, so I actually listened to him. I didn't want to screw it up.I had very little pain, mostly just sore from the surgery. Everything went great. I followed up with him twice. One week after the surgery to check and make sure everything was going well. Then two weeks later and told me I could resume my regular activities. I only had three small incisions which he used some kind of superglue. It worked out great. No scarring at all. I would highly recommend him and his office. I was very happy the way everything turned out.
