| - I'm here for my first visit. Some really great points, some not so good and some irritating, at least for me.
I got the krabby pants omelet. I'm not a fan of cutesy names - I finished junior high long, long ago. The omelet was good - probably 3.8 out of five. A shade too salty which overwhelmed the omelet elements. The potatoes were also just a bit too salty, but did have several different kinds of potatoes - 4.3.
The small cup of fruit is the best I've had in a restaurant in ages. Everything in it was perfectly ripe and there were a good number of fresh pineapple pieces in it. 5.0.
I got water to drink - I'm really cheap. Breakfast was close to $12 with $1 tip - a bit much.
The decorations and merchandise sorta shoves that cutesy/kitschy vibe down your throat. Gag. I'm not admitting there are several things I'm considering buying. No, not admitting that.
A good place for people watching.
Will I be back? Ummmm . . . Not a great value and not all that healthy. Those sweets do look very tempting . . . Which is bad, very bad. I probably will be back, but . . . I'm ambivalent.
Oh, and most irritating of all was the young man who referred to me several times as "young lady". I'm old enough to be his mother, if not grandmother. So, I felt patronized and insulted. I considered making some crabby comment to him, but, as an old woman, I've learned to put up with obnoxious, cutesy whippersnappers. And, yes, I am crabby with a c, not a k - krabby is obnoxious and cutesy. I may be obnoxious, but certainly not cutesy.
