My mom and I came to this dealership frustrated, hot, tired, and very uncertain what vehicle I was even looking for. I had been out for three days prior and had just test drove the car I had always dreamed of owning on the lot of another dealership down the road. I was moderately heartbroken that my "Dream Car Camero" did not closely meet my needs (some things are best left dreaming about!). Upon arriving I was quickly approached by Keith, a kind understanding light hearted guy. I teary eyed told him my story and he patiently took in every word. Then he asked the ultimate question.. "Have you looked at a Prius? I think you would be very surprised" At first I was standoffish. A PRUIS???? REALLY??? A very confident Keith took my mom and I to see one. My mother is handicapped and Keith never let that slow us down in our car quest...He got a golf cart, loaded and unloaded her walker..106 degrees and he never made her or I feel like this was an issue at all. I could have handled her and the walker myself however he wouldn't hear of it A STAND UP GUY 100%!!! So six delarships over three days and NONE of the other people offered to help at all. They would ask if she could wait in the car or make me drive my car around.
We went for a test drive and rather than pressue and hard sell this car Keith kept highlight neat features and waiting for my smile to increase. He told me how he owned a Pruis and how he tenenaged kids liked taking it out...He was knowledgeable and attetive beyond words. I never felt any question was to silly or odd to ask and he explained every facet of this car with nothing less than enthusiasm.
I did not buy the Pruis that day despite a very confident Keith telling me he was sure I would fall in love and never drive anything else again. Over the next two days I searched high and low for anything other than a Prius that I would like (however the seed was planted). Every call and text I sent to Keith was promptly met with an honest response and NO PRESSURE. I went two days later and test drove another Prius model and again I did not buy. At no time did Keith make me feel pressued or as if I was wasting his time. I decided that night that I would buy the second model but I it was late and I asked if I could come by the next day to do the paperwork. A smiley Keith said of course and we set a time in the morning for me to return. THEY LET ME LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP WITHOUT A HASSLE!!!
Murphy's Laew.. the next morning I had a work emergency and I let Keith know I would be late. He was nothing less than accomadating. When I did arrive that afternoon (six hours late) Keith was waiting on us. He helped me get my mom inside and took all the pressure off. I had come to sign the paperwork and leave in the second car I drove. Should be simple and straight forward. I met the finance manager, who too was friendly and nice. All was set and then in last minute descion I once again changed my mind and let Keith and the fianance manager know I wanted the first car I drove. They never even batted and eye. Keith just smile and said he knew it all the time ;-)... The paperwork was prepared pressure free and I was ascorted into the office of another friendly encouraging Fianace manager to sign the final paperwork.
I had to come back to pick up my new car. Keith did offer to deliver it but that didn't work for me. When I returned I was pleasantly surprised that my car had been parked in a garage so it wouldn't be too hot when I drove it home. It was detailed, full of gas, and I was super impressed. But wait there is more. Before I drove away I was provided a one on one detailed explaination of my car. This very nice gentleman even asked if he could set up my handsfree Bluetooth for me. The final moral to my story is this was on a certified preowned Pruis!! Not even a new car!!!
Every day I fall a head over heels in love with this Prius. Every day I have to admit Keith was right every step of the way. If not for the kindness and compassion tabled with knowledge and a just plain excellent customer service I would have never discovered or fell in love with this car! If not for the excellence in customer service from everyone at Bell Toyota I may have settled! These guys are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Bell Toyota for turning a broken hearted frown upside down.
