| - Surprised to find a Chinese vegan restaurant where it is - middle of Suburban, but it seemed quite popular judging from the number of people there when we went on a Friday night.
Nice decor and more classy feel and service, which probably is why the price is a bit higher than some other chinese vegetarian restaurants, e.g. Lotus. The food quantity was also a little less, but still adequate. We ordered 2 large soup (one hot and sour, one mixed veggie), Kung Pao "chicken", spicy eggplant, bbq "pork" and another dishes which I can't remember.
All the food dishes were pretty well done, although not spectacular in my opinion. The best was the bbq "pork", which was really tasty. Hot and sour soup is not too good, mixed veggie soup was better.
The place also seemed to have an extensive selection of tea, with nice displays of different teas. There seemed to be a separate section set aside specifically for tea-tasting, although we didn't venture to try.
Overall, I probably would still prefer Lotus than this mainly due to the quantity, price, and taste of the food.
