| - Why, oh why did it take me so long to hit up Sens? I'm in love, to put it mildly.
My pal, Pierre T. suggested we meet here for drinks last night and I am so incredibly happy that it was Monday so the Roosevelt was closed and I was open to trying something new.
First, Jinia, the bartender is my soul mate. I'm convinced that we were meant to be together. Err, that is a bit creepy, but I really liked her that much. I plan on going back just to hang out with her.
The martinis. I know people whine about paying ten bucks for a martini, but I'm not really that girl. A good martini is worth every penny and Sens martinis are phenomenal. I tried the Lust first and then moved to the Hot Mama (or something like that). The descriptions amused me, also, so hooray for witty menus.
I was happy to easily find the vegetarian section and tried the papaya mango spring rolls, oyster mushrooms and the okra. Great little bites.
I love you, Sens. I'm excited to have met you last night and am excited to get to know you better. See you soon (which means possibly tonight).
