  • Went to Lowe's for a small project bec it's nearby me. I picked up all the things I needed but at the time when I requested to get my stick cut I was turned down. I was told they don't cut those die to safety reasons. But I only need a 5/8" thick in diameter to cut to a 12" long. How unsafe is that? If I knew they wouldn't do this I should've drove 6 more miles to Home Depot and I would've walked out a happy customer. Every Home Depot I've been too always have happy and smiling staff willing to help anyone.
