  • Unfortunately this business is still operating. They were assigned as the contractor by 2-10 Home Warranty for an emergency a/c repair, despite my attempts to get them reassigned after first contacting Schmidt's. From the first conversation to the last this company is extremely unprofessional. Their service department is handled by a woman named Randi. She should never ever work in a position where she talks to a customer. What really made me mad is I was told the parts for my a/c were being delivered from Tucson and would arrive Thursday afternoon. So I scheduled the appointment for Friday morning between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. At 9:30 AM I called to see if there was an update on when the technician would arrive. I was told 1:00 PM!! Once again by Randi, the most unprofessional person to ever have to talk to. At 1:15 PM I called back because the technician still had not arrived. I FINALLY talked to someone other than Randi. He told me he would call the technician and get back to me. At 1:30 PM the technician called and told me he would arrive at around 3:00 PM. The work was finally finished around 4:00 PM. So instead of only taking the morning off work I was forced to take the entire day off. Randi was very aggressive in telling me they had something else they had to do and I would just have to wait. This is NOT acceptable; what's the point of making an appointment if they are not going to arrive at the scheduled time!?!? This job took 4 days to complete. This was supposed to be an emergency repair. But every time I talked to someone at their office, which unfortunately most of the time was Randi, they mumbled something about having a Trane install. So apparently they are a licensed Trane dealer and that is their priority, and it shows. They will always put Trane above anything else. They should never received repair jobs from home warranty companies.
