Deserves 3.5 stars and willing to return. Reasonable prices. Authentic dishes. Folks working there very nice. Was there for quick and quiet Friday lunch circa 11:30 am. Only one other dude in the place. Spanish language soccer on the big screen.
I had a $7 plate of tlacoyos de garbanzo - which are basically thick, lightly fried masa cakes which are smeared with bean paste and then topped with some shredded lettuce and dry crumbles of a white cheese. Served in a pool of watery green sauce. Light (not greasy) and tasty.
Good option if headed to Cubs Park, which is about 1.5 miles away.
