| - After reading all of the reviews, I made my way down to Halo to get my septum pierced. It is an extremely clean and well kept place. All of their beautiful jewelry is displayed in showcases.
The receptionist is very accommodating and friendly. She took my ID and made a copy, and gave me some forms to fill out. Then I picked out my jewelry. I paid for the items and service, then she asks me when I ate last, which was about 7 am.
She then requested that I go and get a granola bar to put something on my stomach, so I did, and then I was called into the back room.
My piercer was Anna, and she was a great conversationalist. We talked about the Universe, and why we are each different, yet we are all one; and how body modifiers (piercings and tattoos) are judged improperly because of how we look; but sometimes, it's the seemingly normal looking folks who are the REAL "Freaks" (Molesters, Rapists, Murderers, etc) ;-)!
Anna measured where the correct part of my septum was going to be pierced, and found that the size I had selected was too large, so she used a smaller piercing; and It looks GREAT!
I am very pleased with my entire experience, and I'm very glad to have met Anna. She is a riot, had me laughing the entire time I was in the chair.
