| - Just relocated from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City and trusted AMS to do the job. Every moving company on the planet has horrible ratings, so, I took a leap of faith and hired them. Not only did they come in at a reasonable quote, they were the only company that could guarantee that they'd pack on mon, load on tues, and show up in SLC on wed.. and they did!! The National carriers all said things like "we'll have your stuff to SLC in a week and then call you with a 4 day window!" Uhm, no thank you. Considering all of the variables this went very well. The guys moving me were fantastic. Personable, polite, and they really cared for my stuff which I appreciate. Moving sucks and I can't imagine doing it every day and they were wonderful. Give them a raise!!!
Side note.... this has nothing to do with AMS but just moving in general. I thought I'd save time and splurge having them pack for me... turns out that for every minute saved packing it took me three times longer to UNPACK. My kitchen took a full day, every single item was wrapped in so much paper it was awful trying to get it all done. Obviously they have to err on the side of caution so I don't blame them, but I wouldn't do this again. For a box of spices that I would have just sat as is on a truck and then put in the cabinet when it got here... it was separated, each spice wrapped and sealed in a 4 foot x 4 foot piece of paper, and loaded into a tall box. It was maddening to undo!!! But again, they were just doing what they have to do when packing for people... just not necessary to be that careful with much of the items. My garage is half full of an environmental disaster of paper, boxes, and wrappings... probably five times more than what I would have used...
All in all I would HIGHLY recommend these guys
