  • I went to LAMP tonight with a group of seven people for our last night in Scottsdale. We wanted something local and good and LAMP had great Yelp reviews. We wavered between four and five stars but ultimately the service brought it down to four. Our waitress really didn't check in with us regularly (my water was empty for a good 20 minutes and was only filled up when we called her over to ask). That being said, the food was great. We had the Zucchini Cakes as an appetizer and everyone at the table loved them. We also ordered four pizzas to share: the Gem, the Rasta, the Gordon and Stacey's Mom. Each pizza has six pieces but some of those pieces are really big so it could feed more than six people. The pizzas were well cooked and offered a nice variety. Two were red pies; two were white. They had varying levels of spice and flavor but we really enjoyed them all. Th restaurant is good for groups and is kid-friendly. We also really liked the pizza oven....it was covered in glossy red tile with white tiles spelling out the name of the restaurant. Overall, definitely worth checking out!
