  • 3 days ago my review was going to be a 1 star review. We took my mother in law to the Er. She has COPD and emphysema . The ER doctor did not have the best bedside manner. However he did more testing that anywhere we have taken her. We previously have had her at Dignity Health and several doctors and urgent cares. He decided to check her oxygen levels thru her blood not just a oximeter. He decided he wanted to keep her overnight for more extensive breathing treatments and oxygen. He found that she had too much carbon dixode in her system. ( common with COPD patients) Between him and her pulmonologist they have gotten her back to better than she was 6 months ago. When we took her to the hospital on tuesday morning I thought she was dying and now we have our mother back on the mend and looking better than she has in months.
