Tired, hungry and wanting to get filled up, I decided to try Canaletto. Ambience: 4 stars as I dined upstairs
Food: 3 stars. nothing memorable. I ordered a Caesar salad in which the salad maker was heavy handed when he drizzled the dressing on the romain hearts that had one anchovy on top as a garnish. Main entree consisted of linguine noodle with meat ragu sauce. Portion was ample but nothing special. Had the Tiramisu which was not presented in the traditional sense as one would expect.
Overall: Prior to writing this review, I learned that this is part of the Il Fornaio chain of restaurants. Had I known this, I probably would not have chosen this place
