Ended up here after we tried three other places with crazy long waits, despite it being after 8 pm. It ended up being a fortuitous bit of luck.
It's so cozy. Yes, you're sitting a bit close to fellow diners, but the lighting is warm, the vibe is "friends kitchen" and the food is really good.
I had the burger and even though I'm not much of a burger person, I was impressed and would go back for more. There's a slab of cream cheese on it and it was a bit too much for me, but when I took some of it off and spread it around, it was much better.
We were so happy to have stumbled upon this place and we'll definitely be back. A great way to end a day in Madison.
