I was visiting a neighbor of mine after he went into CMC.
The first thing I dislike is having to pay $3 to park in their tiny parking deck and they don't take credit or debit cards, just cash or checks... really? In this day and age? They also don't note it well - I missed the tiny note taped to the ticket dispenser as you go in and when I went out I didn't have cash or checks (when do I ever?) and just had to drive away while the person was telling me they only take checks or cash. They should have a sign at the elevators letting you know. I mean, what am I supposed to do? They should have a lot that you can park in without having to pay. You still have to walk, so what's up with the completely empty vendor and pastor lots?
The second thing I disliked is going in to visit to find my (elderly) friend in wet sheets and blankets because whoever was changing them, left. So the clean sheets and blankets are at the end of the bed while he is laying in these wet sheets. Not only that but he is a "fall risk" and they left him sitting in the chair by himself and he told me he got cold waiting for them to come back so he got into bed himself. Ridiculous that you would leave someone that is a fall risk sitting in a chair by themselves without a movement alarm on them.
The nurses I spoke with understood my concerns after I called them twice to get someone in to change the sheets.
Not impressed and I'm only visiting.
