I purchased a 2016 Civic from this dealership. It all started when my dad said he only wanted to do business with Right Honda since he and his wife have purchased 3 vehicles there in the past couple years. My dad contacted Cory who was our salesman, and Cory went to Chandler to pick up my car. When we test drove it the first day, it made a weird thumping noise, so we cut the test drive short, literally down 2 streets, and took it back to the dealership. Cory had said that he was going to get a different vehicle from Avondale Honda, but would not make that noise, and have it at the dealership the next day. I called Cory and he told me that he went and got the new vehicle, it was waiting at the dealership for me, but he couldn't make it and gave me the name of his "Uncle" JC to talk to. Before leaving the first day, after the test drive, we took a picture of the VIN to make sure that we were going to get a different car. So we got back to the dealership the next day, test drove the supposed new vehicle, and it didn't make any noise. While waiting for the finance person, we looked at the VIN of the "new" vehicle and IT WAS THE SAME CAR! Cory never got a new vehicle. We were lied to. The finance guy gave me a little money off of the vehicle purchase and it was what it was. I was told that they were going to throw in a dash mat as well. Before leaving the dealership JC had to "special order" the dash mat, which he supposedly did on the spot. So I called back a couple times, only leaving messages and a voice mail, but didn't get a return call at first. Finally JC called me back and told me that they needed to special order the dash mat, and apparently didn't. So that was a week ago. I am still waiting. I dont think I'll ever see it. I don't even want it. I just wanted to see if this dealership, who supposedly prides themselves on their customer service, actually came through. And I am not shocked that they didn't. I even reached out to their General Manager, Darrel D. with my experience, and received a response that it was "going to be taken care of" 9 days ago. Luckily I love the car I purchased. I will never do business with this dealership again for any future purchase, and will highly recommend to anyone I know not to either. Just another car dealership that will tell you what ever they need to tell you in order to get your money. The entire time they will beg you to give them all 10's on their survey, but they will not follow through with what they say they will do.
