  • I was shocked reading the critical reviews. I had a very positive experience at this office. This was my first time going. My filling fell out after 10 years and my original dentist had retired. I called first thing on a Monday morning and they were able to see me with 30 minuets of my call. I had been shopping around for the price of either a filling or a crown for this tooth and found this office to offer competitive rates. Dr. Smallwood and his staff are extremely nice people who are good at explaining things and making sure their clients feel comfortable during the entire process. on a side note: The office is beautiful. I learned that Dr. Smallwood had an interest in architecture before he went into dentistry and thus, he designed the entire building himself! His staff are loyal to him and cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Smallwood. That says something! I appreciated the comfort of the office, the dentists chair and the technology at this office. When they take Xrays or photos of your teeth you are able to see the images on a large computer screen in front of you. Sometimes it can be ugly, but the purpose is to be very clear about what procedures need to be done and why. Also, I have a small mouth and the xray film they put inside your mouth don't hurt like at other dentists office. Thank you Joe, Ann and Dr. Smallwood!
