  • If you can walk there, do so. If not, here's a tip - if you MUST drive, the brewery does have parking but it's very limited. We happened to drive there the same day some game was going on (ain't nobody got time for that) and the paid ($20) public parking lot was full. Lo and behold, we turned into the Steam Whistle lot and there was one space left, calling our names! Onto the good stuff - tours are $10 and you get your choice of either a bottle opener or a Steam Whistle pilsner glass. Or you can opt for a tour and a six pack ($15 - my personal choice) and if you're really ambitious, a tour and a 12 pack ($26). Tours on a Sunday start at 12 p.m. and last about a half hour or so. We got there a little before the 1 p.m. tour and it wasn't too packed. Once you buy your ticket, they give you a small sample of the beer. Once the tour starts, they give you a bottle. And when the tour is over, they give you another sample. So I think it's safe to say that you don't have to worry about not having a drink in your hand for the duration of the tour. Our tour guide was funny but informative at the same time. Prior to my visit to Canada, I've never even heard of Steam Whistle. Now I wish they sold this beer back home! Until next time, eh!
