As much as I prefer shopping locally, it can often be a dangerous game when it comes to high-end electronics. I attempted to purchase a couple of plasma sets from these guys several months ago. The unmotivated salesman seemed to have minimal interest in helping me. The price that I was quoted out the door, which was absurdly overpriced to begin with, ended up being off by oh...only about two thousand dollars. That should have been a red flag. He corrected it once he realized his rather expensive mistake.
Like with most places, delivery was extremely quick. The delivery guys I spoke with were both very polite. But when I needed to make a return, communication suddenly slowed down significantly, to the point where I had to call them on a daily basis in order to get things taken care of. In the end, it was way more of a hassle than it should have been.
The fact that Walt's TV tries to sell off discontinued sets for marked-up prices in order to make a few extra bucks makes them seem less like a legitimate business and more like a second-rate peddler or pawn shop.
This is one case where I suggest sticking with reputable online retailers.
